Shh..! Don't..! 

 

A performance I devised with Hari Marini of PartSuspended.

 

It was inspired by our mothers, their recurring questions as well as their love and fears and how we carry them with us. It also questions the complex relationship with our motherlands, drawing on our conflicting emotions to reflect on the experience of living in a foreign country.

 

Performed at: Don't Tell Mama presented by Coocoolili, Jamboree (London, 2017); Solidarity NOT Charity, fundraiser for refugees organised by The Purple Ladies, Bussey Building (Peckham, London, 2017).
